Dental Implants

Single Implant (Anterior Healing Cap)

Some dental implant cases are straightforward; others are quite complex, requiring the strengthening of surrounding bone, treatment of infection, the management of special aesthetic considerations, etc.  We offer a full range of implant-related procedures right in our office – ridge augmentation, sinus lifts, bone grafts, and more – so the process is always well coordinated, delivered seamlessly, and completed efficiently.

Dr. Amir Barati has extensive training and 20 years of experience placing and restoring dental implants. He has successfully treated countless patients by replacing failed or missing teeth, and restoring them both functionally and aesthetically.

Dr. Sanavi is an experienced board-certified gum specialist who has been practicing and teaching at University of Pennsylvania and Temple University for years. He has adroitly performed many complex implants, sinus lifts, periodontal surgeries, and immediate implants. Thanks to his partnership with our practice, we can help patients with many periodontal procedures in our office.

IMMEDIATE IMPLANTS

In many tooth replacement cases we can place an immediate implant. This treatment involves extracting the failing or damaged tooth and replacing it with a dental implant on the same day. This streamlined approach eliminates the gap of time between extraction and implant placement, and also eliminates the need for a subsequent surgery.

Benefits include:

  • Shorter treatment time. Since there’s no need for a second surgery after healing, your treatment could be completed days or even months sooner. This means less disruption to your life and daily routines.

  • Preserves bone and gum tissue. Immediate placement helps prevent the loss of both hard and soft tissue, allowing for a more aesthetically pleasing result specially for front teeth in the smile zone.
  • Fewer appointments. They reduce the number of dental visits you’ll need, saving both time and cost over delayed procedures.

Find Out If Immediate Implants Are Right For You

Patients needing an implant with otherwise good oral health and sufficient bone volume for single rooted front teeth may be candidates for immediate implants, but an evaluation is necessary. If you are considering a dental implant, ask us if can use an immediate implant to restore your smile more quickly, and with minimal disruption.
